Under 11 coaches :

We signed off our mini soccer season with 2 summer galas. One at Drighlington and our own at the Glen.
A and B teams both played brilliantly at Drighlington with the A team winning their group and the B team coming runners up in the other group. Unfortunately this meant that they met in the semi final. The B team took the lead before being pegged back and eventually the A team came out close winners. The A team went straight into the final against Dewsbury Rangers and again went behind to 2 quick headed goals but levelled before full time to make it 2-2. Glen were the stronger in extra time and bagged 2 more goals to take the cup 4-2.
2007 Drighlington Gala champions
In our own gala in July, all 3 teams played brilliantly in appalling conditions.
The A and B teams again met in the semi final and the A team were victorious. They then went on to beat a strong Ossett Town team in the final. Credit goes to all players taking part who played some great football in the cold, wet and windy conditions. Well done !
